A 10 point award means the area is well done, a 5 point award means it is passable but could have been better, and a 1 point award means it was done very poorly. All points are added up at the end, to determine how many total points the game has earned. There are a total of 100 points which can be earned. This system is designed to perfectly synchronize with GameRankings and Metacritic; which is awfully important these days. Other websites like IGN and Gamespot have problems trying to get their grade systems to synchronize with these meta review sites because they don’t use a system that goes from 1 to 100.
