Hey everyone its time for another Game Music Appreciation Theater and this time around its Kirby’s Adventure on the nes brought to us by Hal Laboratory. This was the last big platformer for the NES and it shows. It has some of the best graphics, gameplay, and of course music the nes ever saw. The soundtrack was composed by Hal’s main team of composers Jun Ishikawa and Hirokazu Ando. Enjoy! In this review I talk about a modern title. A Vampyre Story. This is a so called 2.5D adventure game and utilizes some of the greatest 2D art I have seen in an adventure game to date. This combined with some truly inspired and thoughtful game design delivers a truly fun and excellent game. Yet, for all its greatness, there are some inherent problems in this title. Can amazing graphics make up for a lack of story? Well.. no.. not really.. but it sure helps!! This is the 3rd review I have ever done and I think I am getting better. Dark Void, by Airtight Games and Capcom, is a new sci-fi action-adventure game that combines an adrenaline-fuelled blend of aerial and on-foot combat set in a parallel universe called The Void. Aiming to take 3D action to a whole new level, Dark Void’s vertical combat system allows players to dangle from thousand foot drops as they take cover and drop enemies from above and below. Blasting away at massive bosses has never been this much fun as Dark Void offers a unique grip system made up of a variety of mini-games including skyjacking ufos mid-flight. A crappy Sonic Game where you play as Tails and you must rescue Sonic and Knuckles and then for no apparent reason I made a Boss that will kick your Tails! My god, this is one of the most terrible Old Game Maker Projects I’ve made!
