@Cammac360 This is way before the events of bioshock 1 and 2 so andrew ryan will be too young to be able to build a city in the sky. He might not even be mentioned in Bioshock Infinite.

Hmm… okay, I can see how they can make this work with everything that happened in Rapture. I think it’s an interesting take on history.
They said that in this game, everyone knows about Columbia; not exactly true with history, but then again, there was no such thing as a random lighthouse in the middle of the ocean leading to an underwater city either.
When you’ve eliminated the necessity for textbook history, you can make the city of Columbia part of this alternate timeline for Bioshock.
