Game Video Spot

A little mix of five games for the iOS on the iPhone and iPad. Three games are available on both the iPhone/iPod Touch and the iPad, although Spider HD has an older version on the iPhone also. Spider HD is a cool puzzle/strategy game where you’re a spider and you need to interact with your environment to spin webs and catch bugs. Osmos HD a wonderfully looking game that uses some pretty cool physics to absorb other orbs of mass. Mirror’s Edge has been out for quite a while but still worth a look. A cool side-scrolling game with some pretty cool graphics. Kind of Matrix-like fun. Air Attack is a top-bottom scroller that reminds me of the old 1942 arcade game of blowing up plans and ground units for added points and perks. Air Attack is also now available on the iPad. NOVA too has been out for a while, but recently got an update for iOS 4 and the iPhone 4. This is a quick look at the Retina Display support and gyroscope controls.
