This is the moment you’ve been waiting for – Platform Masters is now on the verge of becoming playable. So far, as of the time this video was recorded (about 80 minutes before being uploaded), the character can walk, run, stop, jump, look up, duck, and look down. The only collision detection done is with the ground. Why just the ground? It’s about the simplest you can get for collision detection. Next in line is making collision detection work with at least the platforms then the objects. Adding in more abilities is probably next. Beyond this, I haven’t decided on what to do next. Once I get to the point where I create levels, I’ll really be going crazy for progress, at least in theory I should (given the huge motive with making levels, much higher than anything else). The level shown is only my test level, of which is now just about to be put to use for the first time.
