Stratagus is a free cross-platform real-time strategy gaming engine. It includes support for playing over the internet/LAN, or playing a computer opponent.     that means you can run it on windows OR Linux OR mac OR BSD.
    I bet if you google you will find a download link

  14. wow…I was right! There is even “wargus” with the same engine that uses WC2 data files. It also looks kindof like red alert and AOE…
