CIv 4 is NOT an RTS. IT is a TBS. There is a huge difference.
You too fail to understand. He said “a” game was not rts, it was strategy.. he was supposed to say that it was not rts, it was turn-based. Because all the sub-categories relate to Strategy itself. FAIL. RTS does stand for real time, and civilization is a turn based strategy game.. but its still related to the main category of Strategy itself.

not a fan of command and conquer since 3 came out red alerts fine they do a good job but C&C has major balancing problems and the online multiplayer is boring because everyone does the same thing over and over.
World in conflict would be good if they incorporated building into it like setting up MG nest and stuff at points and gathering resources. But since you basically get like 4-5 units max it gets boring fast.

no one will change the spirit of Company of Heroes. The most succeded RTS game ever in my opinion. I always enjoy his sequels.

Universe at war the most horribly balanced rts (just take walkers in a small map & u will win) is labeled #2 in this list and at #5 is a TURN BASED GAME in a RTS LIST.
This list should be labeled “Best RTS for Consoles” (except sins of a solar empire which is pc).
He didn’t even mention Warhammer 40000 soulstorm,Dow 2,Total war series,Demigod and Company of heroes.

Would total war count as rts. The battles are rts but you do have turns. If Total War was eligable then in my humble opinion it would win hands down. (Although i do think that command and conquer is kickass.)
