Here is Version 2 of the new series I’m doing called My Week in Gaming where I showcase the games I played in the week. Here are the games: c-12 Final Resistance (PS1, but played on a PS2 with texture smoothing on)- I’ve been playing this game. I did post an underrated vid of the game in action. It plays like a futuristic Syphon Filter with more puzzle elements. It’s largely overlooked, because it came out ver late int he ps1′s library (2001 in Europe, and 2002 in the US). It’s a fun game. It has it’s issues, but overall, I’ve enjoyed playing it so far. NBA Jam TE (Sega Genesis)- This is easily my favorite sports game of all time. I generally hate sports games, but NBA Jam is awesome. I usually pull it out for a while once a year and give it a good playthrough. It’s just classic. Quake II online (PC)- What can I say, I’m addicted. I came into Quake II rather late. I didn’t get the game until 2005, and I really didn’t start playing it online heavily until late 2008-2009. So I’m about 11-12 years behind on the game. I was always afraid to try it online, because I knew that everyone on there had been playing for years, and they were going to murder me. Don’t get me wrong, they still murder me pretty easily, but I still have an absolutely blast playing every time. It’s just fast fun, and furious. I urge everyone to give this classic a try if they haven’t, or to give it another try if they used to play it. It’s still as fun as ever, and after playing this game, it make Halo 3 …
