The funny thing is is that you cannot give actual reasons why the gameplay is terrible, I can for Halo, its too simple for a shooter, you cant aim in, you cant sprint, there are too many power weapons etc… The reasoning for the levels looking the same is because its on a desolate planet called helghan, there is no tropical forests or rich palaces. its the atmosphere for the game. its not a “biased opinion” i’ve played the game, i didn’t like it, is that so hard for you to grasp. There is nothing to master, the gameplay is awful, the levels in the single-player are dull no variety to it at all, the multiplayer (when there are people actually playing it) is unbalanced and the maps are terrible. I just didn’t like the game.
Thats your own biased opinion, its faster paced than halo and call of duty 4, it has multiple game types in one match to keep things going, there is more players. And yet its boring? Take off your fanboy goggles please. And i never said halo was supposed to be realistic either, i said that the weighting on the aim was to add one element of realism, so you cant rush through 10 enemies and kill all of them until you master the new type of gameplay. Therefore not making it a Cod or halo clone.
It is actually very similar in the gameplay aspect, you cannot aim in with guns except for rifles. You cannot sprint, etc..The only thing about halo is that there is no recoil and you have sheilds. O and it added in some vehicles, wow. It has done nothing to evolve the genre. There is no other game like it except for Counter strike, Day of defeat. Basically any game made by valve.

lol im not making up negative aspects of the game, i didn’t like the game! killzone 2 isn’t realistic, neither is call of duty. And yes Halo did evolve the genre in many ways, and i know it wasn’t the only game that helped evolve the genre.

@melkor256 How do you not like the gameplay…the online is awesome because there’s a ton of different classes and abilities also the way it switches from mission to mission is so fun it never gets boring, the best thing though is the online map design which frikn pwns the maps are amazingly fun…whatever you are obviously in love with halo I hope you two have a happy life together…yeknow it doesn’t relaly matter since bad company 2 is probably better than both these games.

, and the only thing i liked about it was one single character and that was mainly because of the voice acting. I played it and didn’t like it simple as i didn’t like the gameplay, i didn’t like the story. The opposite to what you thought of it “the best fps you’ve ever played” fine go fucking play it then and enjoy.
