This video shows how and where can you find the ILS freq number at. And there is a very simple mistake i did in the end, I didnt change the Altimiter on Final and was on Auto Pilot till i touched down, was kinda busy recording the video lol ENJOY
Its hard to explain but just remember that ur Standard Garmin 500 has a two dials a bigger one and a smaller one, navigate throughtairport information, and ull fins a list of frequecies and u can also fin it there
on your radio, after you’ve enter the correct frequencies,i.e..ils in nav 1,vor in nav2 adf below, click on nav1,nav2,adf,mkr, on the botton of the radio panel. to test the navigation and adf frequencies, use the above steps with the frequencies of the airport that your airplane is currently on.
Ensure nav and not gps is engaged and APP hold is on,. that the plane doesn’t have to make a turn more than 30 degrees to line up with run way..i.e if the runway ils heading is 090, at 15 miles out or so you should either be heading to not less than 060 0r more than 120 degrees. This small intercept angle of 30 degrees will make it easy for the autopilot to turn to 090 when it intercepts the centerline signal
you need to press the NAV button and make sure you are switched to nav and not gps or this will fly you on the route programmed into your gps. By having both “nav”s switched on,the airplane will line you up with the centerline of the runway. At a certain safe distance, while still approaching in level flight from below the glide slope, activate the APP hold and it will descend for you.

how do you turn the beeping off
does anyone else have the problem of having to wait awhile for the video to automatically begin? It never did that before
Bad lesson
do i have to turn off the altitude control or does the airplane do by it’s own?
I will try to work again on How to use ILS but will try to make it correct this time
