FIFA 10 will be the next instalment of ea’s FIFA series of football video games. Developed by EA Canada, it is published by Electronic Arts worldwide under the EA Sports label. It is due for release across all platforms on 2 October 2009. Common belief was that the demo is due to be released 19 August (announced on the official website with a countdown timer) but, according to the official EA forums moderator, this is a countdown to a showing of the game at a German gaming convention. Before EA announced it would be developing the game, a producer of FIFA made a forum topic for improvements for FIFA 10. Hundreds and thousands of posts were made in the topic. A number of key areas have been worked upon for the upcoming game as announced by next-gen Gameplay Producer Santiago Jaramillo. * Manager Mode has had many issues addressed. Building a team to 5 stars will be much harder. The experience points system has been improved, pre-season friendlies are now organised by your assistant manager, a HUB screen has replaced the message system, you can now edit kit numbers, and the staff upgrades have been tweaked, you can get updates from other teams around the world (Total Football Experience), the player growth is revamped, the atmosphere is different with rival teams.
