And you’ll be arrested. Bad – Really just a game for series/IP/genre diehards. Okay – Not bad enough to be bad, not good enough to be good. Good – Good ideas, good design, good execution. It’s good. Excellent – A very special layer of hell is reserved for people who don’t own this game.

  1. Still, you do a fantastic job at stating your case, even more so than usual. And as someone who’s recently gotten a lot of flack for saying the God of War games are a bit overrated I have to commend you for risking the wrath of fanboys and going against a beloved game.

  2. I’ll get this out of the way: I respect your opinions tremendously, far more than any “professional” reviewer. But I like most people who probably will comment on this, I think your wrong on this one. I’ve played and loved System Shock 2. Is Bioshock an inferior game? Absolutely. Is it still a great one? I think so, for different reasons. I love both of them, and while I’d pick SS2 any day I don’t regret buying Bioshock for a second.

  3. Okay I disagree with some of your opinions, the intro to the video made it seem like you hated the game, I think it’s one of the best games this generation.

  4. I disagree with your opinions.

  5. 9:30- I think the argument might be a bit flawed. In a sense, it’s more synonymous to reusing a story over and over again like with movies such as: Indiana Jones, Back to the Future, Star Wars, etc. If you watch each episode, the methodology of the story is basically a rehashed version of it’s original but its literally how the saying goes, “if it’s not broke, don’t fix it.” That said in terms of, if people had greatly complimented the predecessor, the creator sees no reason to not redress it

  6. @Tenn1502 You’re acting like I don’t understand it. I fully understand what it is. And what it is is mediocre.
