  5. hahaha good job..glad that you learned how to cheat when you were 5 years old! A corrupted guy was in the making!

  6. No way man! Stage one.

  7. I got a game shark and went all the way through it. haha

  8. Man I remember this game was so damn hard, I never got past stage 3

  9. prison break…..

  10. Good stuff, mercisan, the arcade game owned my ass a kid the first time I played it :) .

It was so different from the NES version, so I did’t stick around to play through it. There are hardly any true boss battles in that game either.

Yeah, Don James is pretty tough at first, but once you jump kick over his bullets and take the fight to him, he’s an absolute joke.

  11. I could never beat the second boss (guy that drops grenades) and you just made him look like a pussy. I only played the game a few times though, and I was king in the arcade version :)

  12. My god this game takes me back.

  13. the song on stage 2 is the shit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  14. I still have mine..I may need to hold a game down with another game to make it work…thus after blowing in the game I want to play…lol

  15. when I was a kid the grenades reminded me of CornNuts for some reason.

  16. In the sequel, the nameless POW from this game should run for president and fight ninjas on the streets of DC while wearing a business suit.

  17. this game was awsome i only beat it with game genie!!

  18. Like shincyriades mentioned, there are bootleg NES consoles around, unforgivn82. In my case I have a copy of the original NES console. They continue to be sold at game shops as well as online to this very day.

Finding a brand new NES would be tough though. Never underestimate the staying power of a used console though, they can last quite a while, as long as they are properly maintained. So find an NES if you can, kick back, and enjoy some classic gaming!

  19. I’m glad that you appreciate the speedrun, rogelioVela1985 :)

  20. There’s a girl for every geek, trust me I know. :)

  21. Don’t you guys think that the chopper at the end of level one looks like the Tomahawk from GI Joe. Remember the one Lift Ticket flew? I always thought that. I know, I’m a nerd. Girls don’t want to have sex with me.

  22. The console I assume was rented from the store Daniel T works at, unless he happens to own a console. However, there are companies who have made reproductions of the NES system.

  23. I miss the NES games how are you guys able to play these things. Are there consoles out or something that can be bougth new again?

  24. sweet, awesome speedrun!

  25. This is one of the few games I liked the home port over the Arcade. That boss music is awesome.
